Welcome to the Center for Spiritual Care

     We are deeply grateful that we are now in our tenth year of serving the people of Vero Beach, the Treasure Coast of Florida and seekers from much farther afield.  We provide individual and small group spiritual growth opportunities.  Mark your calendars now, and plan now for this season’s upcoming activities. If you are new to the Center, give us a call 772-567-1233 or we invite you to stop by during one of our ongoing weekly activities for a tour of the Center.  The coffee pot and tea kettle are always warm. 

 

     We invite you to consider joining a small monthly spiritual direction group or to try an individual spiritual direction session.  Our weekly groups and specialized workshops offer a good introduction to us, to contemplative prayer and practice, and to a deeper, richer life.

Are you looking for a Spiritual Director?

    As you scroll through our pages, you may notice that spiritual direction is an important part of the programs at the Center for Spiritual Care.  Do you know why?  We believe that it is very helpful for most people to have someone to help them on their faith journey as they grow closer to God.  The director helps the person notice and respond to the movement of God as experienced in prayer and in the events of ordinary life.  For assistance, please contact us at the Center for Spiritual Care.

Friends of the Center for Spiritual Care

• The Center for Spiritual Care is a designated 501C3 non-profit organization.  It is because of your continued friendship and backing that the Center for Spiritual Care has become a place of personal transformation, solace and inspiration.  We believe we are fulfilling our mission as a sacred dwelling that enhances personal growth through the ministerial competencies of our varied contributors and program presenters. 
• As co-coordinators, we donate most of our services in the hope and anticipation that others will come forward to assist this ministry financially and with their time and talents.  Your financial and prayer assistance continues to be essential to the Center's success.  We keep activity fees low so the greatest number can participate.  the reality is that fees do not come close to covering our operating expense.
• We hope you will also find it possible to help us help others by inviting you to consider a special gift to the Center for Spiritual Care to help defray the cost of our programs and events.  Please prayerfully consider becoming a "Friend of the Center for Spiritual Care" by pledging to support us with a monthly tax-deductible donation.  Once again this year, we have a donor who has offered to match a $500 or greater gift.  We continue to work on the Meditation Garden and are also in need of items for our meditation garden.  If you would like to donate to the Center or our meditation garden, please contact the Center office.  Many thanks for your contribution!!
